Therapy for Adolescents, Young Adults & Creative Self-Discovery

Creative Collaborative Compassionate

I believe therapy is a space where your story matters.

My path into counseling began through the arts, where I discovered how creativity, expression, and storytelling can transform the way we understand ourselves. That experience continues to shape my work today. I see therapy as a place where people can explore their experiences with curiosity, compassion, and the freedom to imagine new possibilities for their lives.

Most importantly, I want my clients to know one thing:

I’m on your side.

I’ve been through difficult seasons myself, and I have a deep belief in our ability to heal, grow, and reconnect with who we truly are.

Reclaiming Your Story

Much of my work is informed by narrative therapy and feminist theory.

I believe we are more than the problems we experience. Anxiety, self-doubt, depression, or painful life experiences may influence our lives, but they do not define who we are.

Together, we explore the stories we have inherited, the narratives we tell ourselves, and the messages we’ve absorbed from the world around us. Through that process, many people begin to loosen the grip of shame, reconnect with their strengths, and discover new ways of relating to themselves and others.

Working with Adolescents
& Young Adults

I am especially drawn to working with adolescents and young adults, particularly those navigating the transitions between adolescence and adulthood.

These years can be exciting, confusing, overwhelming, and full of possibility all at once. Therapy can provide a space to explore relationships, identity, creativity, career paths, life direction, and the challenges that come with growing into who you are becoming.

My role is not to tell you who to be. It is to walk alongside you as you discover that for yourself.

A Playful & Respectful Approach

I often describe myself as a professional big kid.

With more than a decade of experience working with children, families, and young people, including five years as a Montessori educator and work as an early childhood music teacher, I have seen how powerful play, imagination, and authentic connection can be.

Whether I am working with children, teens, or young adults, I strive to create a therapeutic relationship built on mutual respect, curiosity, humor, and trust.

You won’t simply be talking at me. You’ll be in conversation with someone who believes in your resilience and capacity for change.

Growth Through Connection

Through evidence-based practice and a collaborative therapeutic relationship, we will work together to identify the thoughts, behaviors, and patterns that may be standing between you and the life you want to create.

My hope is that therapy becomes a place where you feel seen, supported, and empowered to move forward with greater self-understanding, confidence, and freedom.
